Amnesty International is a non profit organization that fights for the Human Rights worldwide. And it needs donations to keep the fight. But because Portugal is a tiny and peaceful country, the portuguese don’t know much about Amnesty work beyond borders. So we created a campaign based on real stories, where Amnesty International had an important role. We invited one awarded writer and one awarded movie diretor to present this stories, as it was their next book or movie.
This first story is about the hunt on albino people in Malawi.
Tag line:
“It would be a great movie, but it wasn’t me who directed it, it was Amnesty”.
If you like stories with happy endings, donate 0,5% of your taxes to Amnesty International.
The idea was to make people to think this was another premiere so we created this movie poster to place it on cinemas and video on demand platforms along side other movies.
Movie title: Annie Alfred – The girl who was different because she wanted to be equal.
The second story is about a foto journalist who was arrested and tortured in Egypt, just because he was doing his job.

“It would be a great book, but it wasn’t me who wrote it, it was Amnesty”.

We created a book to be in book stores and online book stores.
Book title: Shawkan – Freedom to be a photojournalist again.
We created a third story, with the look of a TV series, to be on entertainment platforms such as Vodafone TV, RTP Play, NOS Play and Netflix. (Tv ad never happened, it was going to be filmed on California with the awarded portuguese actress Daniela Ruah, goddamn corona virus…)
Tv Series title: Yecenia – When the dream of freedom becomes reality.
